Sage Willow Midwifery & Wellness
Sage Willow Midwifery was born out of a desire to serve the community in a more intimate and holistic way. Our Midwifery Model of Care is a family-centered, community-based approach that promotes wellness throughout the lifespan and supports an empowering and satisfying healthcare experience. Developing a trusting relationship with clients, maintaining continuity of care, and empowerment are some of the hallmarks of midwifery that we value.

Michelle has studied Women's Integrative and Functional Medicine and integrates this approach into practice.
Lindsay Lachant
Lindsay has more than 20 years of experience in maternal health and midwifery. Prior to becoming a Certified Nurse-Midwife in 2013, she was a labor & delivery nurse, childbirth educator, and lactation consultant. She has experience providing care in home, freestanding birth center and hospital settings. In 2018, she received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice, which specialized in healthcare quality improvement and focused on improving breastfeeding exclusivity and implementing practices to help patients meet their individual goals. In addition to lactation, expanding access to perinatal mental healthcare is another area of interest for Lindsay. She recently completed the Perinatal Mental Health Certification from Postpartum Support International and has incorporated mental health and wellness into her practice. At Sage Willow, Lindsay provides in-home postpartum and newborn care, annual wellness and gynecologic care, lactation consultation, and perinatal mental healthcare.
Michelle and Lindsay offer support to folks in Southern Vermont.
